Louisa Kesby died on 12 Aug 1901 at "Corangula" in Kempsey, New South Wales, at the age of 69 and it was reported as follows: "Mrs. Geo. Kesby, Senr. We have also to record the death of Mrs.
Louisa Kesby, wife of Mr. George Kesby, senr. of Corangula, which occurred early on Monday last.
The deceased lady retired to rest apparently in the best of health and spirits on Sunday night, and a little after midnight complained of a feeling of palpitation of the heart. Her daughter proceeded
to get a cup of tea, but on arriving at the bedside with it Mrs. Kesby was found to have passed peacefully away.
She was born in England, and was about 70 years of age, the immediate cause of death being heart failure.
Mrs Kesby leaves a family of six sons, John, William, Walter, George, Henry and Edward, and two daughters, Martha and Rachel.
The funeral took place on Tuesday at West Kempsey Cemetery, the Rev. Pearson officiating when a large number of relatives and friends formed a procession to the grave."
She was buried on 14 Aug 1901 in West Kempsey, New South Wales.
