One of the longest funeral corteges in Barmedman for many years was that of Mr. John Gordon Loiterton, of Bellarwi, who died suddenly, at his, home, aged 63. The service in the Methodist Church which, preceded the funeral was conducted by the Rev. A. Blackert, of West Wyalong, and this, also, was largely attended by relatives, friends and neighbors of the deceased, who had lived at Bellarwi for the past 25 years. The late Mr. Loiterton was born at Cootamundra, where his parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. John Loiterton, were among the first settlers on the land in this district. When he was a young man, he conducted a dairy farm at Camden, after which he returned to live at Ccotamundra for a time. In 1926 Mr. and Mrs. Loiterton and family went to Bellarwi to the property which he had purchased and which he successfully conducted. The late Mr. Loiterton is survived by his widow and three sons, Alton, Wilfred (Ted), of Bellarwi. and Mervyn, Junee; and two daughters, Mrs. R. D. Logg. of Barmedman, and Miss Joyce Loiterton of Bellarwi.
