Louisa Gadsdon was described as 'pale and anaemic, 5 ft 4 ins (163 cm) in height with an almost impetinent expression of face, brown hair, grey eyes, straight nose, very regular features and an unusuallygood set of teeth' on her admission to Gladesville mental Hospital. She was believed to suffer with a form of depression, possibly post-natal, and was admitted to Gladesville (Sydney) Mental Hospital. She was still suffering mental illnes and was again admitted to a Mental Hospital in 1893.

Louisa Millway died in 1932 at Mental Hospital in Stockton, New South Wales.
