OBITUARY
MRS. ANN WENHAM.
COFF'S HARBOR, Thursday.
The death is announced of Mrs. Ann Wenham, widow of the late Francis Wenham, of Gerringong, at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. D. A. Morrison, of Coff's Harbour Jetty, after a lengthy illness. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Izzard, of Berrima of which town she was a native and resided there until her marriage in 1878.
Subsequent to her wedding she lived for 45 years in Gerringong during the greater portion of which time her husband was a warder at the Berrima Gaol.
The late Mrs. Wenham was a great-granddaughter of the late James Ruse, who was famous in the early days as the first man to grow wheat in Austtralia. Following the death of her husband in 1920 Mrs. Wenham left Gerringong and came to Coff's Harbour, where she had resided with her daughter, Mrs. Morrison, ever since.
In addition to Mrs. Morrison, the deceased is survived by two other daughters, Miss M. Wenham and Mrs. D. Mitchell, both of Sydney, and one son, Mr. John Wenham. of Hamilton. There are 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The funeral left the Methodist Church, Coff's Harbour, at 3 p.m. today for the Coff's Harbour cemetery, the Rev. A. E. Brawn conducting the burial Service.
