Frank Henry Hargreaves was born in 1899 in Balmain North, New South Wales, a son of George Henry (c1864-1914) and Annie Selina (nee Cullen: 1870-1928) Hargreaves.

Frank Henry Hargreaves married Alma A. McKnight, daughter of Thomas McKnight and Marion Walsh Hamilton, in 1928 in Randwick, New South Wales. When Frank Hargreaves returned from the war he landed in Melbourne and caught the train to Sydney - he was met by Alma and Anne Hargreaves (Norman's daughter). The latter said he was a most handsome man in uniform. At some stage Alma and Frank settled in Barradine NSW. A telegram arrived from Rosemary to say she and her daughter (not his) were arriving in Sydney (apparently he had had an affair OS). Alma left Barradine and moved to Sydney. Rosemary and her daughter moved to Barradine but were not really welcomed by the community. In the end Frank and Rosemary and maybe the daughter moved to the Tumut area. Frank did not marry Rosemary but she apparently changed her name to Hargreaves by deed poll. (from Kathy Earls -Dec 2011.)

Frank Henry Hargreaves died in 1965 in Sydney, New South Wales.
